Denmark Limited - Global by design

In Waldemar Schmidt's 35-year career as an international businessman, he has worked for three unique Danish companies. Part of his work has involved travelling all over the world. This experience has made Waldemar Schmidt highly aware and proud of the strength and uniqueness of Denmark, Danish companies, Danish products, Danish services and not least the Danish people.

An attractive country —
With his position as Goodwill Ambassador for Copenhagen as point of departure, Waldemar therefore created the idea to document and spread the word that Denmark is an attractive country to do business in and from. And that by doing so, businesses are better positioned to attract more foreign investments and help promote Danish products and services in the global market.

Denmark has many unique small and mediumsized companies that are world leaders when it comes to market share or recognition within their particular market segments/niches. Many of these companies are typically well known only within their own narrow fields, and not necessarily known as Danish companies.

The book promotes Denmark as an excellent country to do business from and in. It is a powerful tool for everyone involved in the business of attracting foreign business to Denmark and selling Denmark as a very competitive industrial nation.

The book is also used by the Goodwill Ambassador Corps, Copenhagen Capacity, and Wonderful Copenhagen.
